Following on from our Gloucester opening, we’re bringing the Clip ‘n Climb experience to Croydon! Opening early February, our newest venue will feature 24 unique climbing challenges alongside Play Den, a large soft play area, creating the ultimate destination for families across South London.
From Finance to Family Fun
The centre will be run by Simon Jobson, who successfully operates Clip ‘n Climb at the O2 and Clip ‘n Climb Wandsworth. Simon made the leap from finance to family entertainment in 2024, and hasn’t looked back.
“Making the switch from finance to running Clip ‘n Climb centres has been one of the best decisions I’ve made,” says Simon. “There’s something incredibly fulfilling about creating spaces where families can have fun together and kids can build confidence. The business model is solid, but what really drives me is seeing the joy on children’s faces when they conquer a challenge they didn’t think they could do.”
What Makes Croydon Special
This centre has been designed with families in mind. With both Play Den soft play and climbing challenges under one roof, everyone can choose their adventure: bouncing around the soft play or taking on the climbing walls. From the adrenaline rush of the super-popular Vertical Drop Slide to gentler climbs for building confidence, there’s something for all ages and abilities, meaning no one has to sit on the sidelines!
Refuel at South Ridge Café
After burning off all that energy, head to the South Ridge Café for coffee, snacks, and a range of hot and cold drinks. Whether you need a quick bite or want to make an afternoon of it, our café has you covered while you watch the climbing action.
